Design and implementation of power supply scheme for DC power distribution unit of OTN equipment
In recent years, OTN technology has been widely used in the field of power system communication. OTN equipment has high power consumption, complex power supply and high requirements for the power environment of the machine room. Taking the OTN equipment produced by Huawei Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Huawei) as an example, this paper first introduces the composition principle and power supply requirements of the equipment, puts forward the problems encountered by the power supply of OTN equipment in the existing power environment of the computer room, and then compares and analyzes the input connection modes of power source distribution units of two OTN equipment subracks; On this basis, this paper further expounds the capacity configuration of the air switch of the power distribution unit of the OTN equipment sub rack and the realization mode of the positive grounding of the power input. Finally, it summarizes the advantages of this power supply scheme, as well as the construction and operation and maintenance benefits.
OTN equipment involves photoelectric conversion of many channels, with high power consumption and high reliability of power supply. Therefore, partition power supply is often used in OTN cross multiplexing part; Moreover, the cross multiplexing part and line transmission part of OTN equipment are separated. Although they generally coexist in the same cabinet, they need to supply power independently. Therefore, OTN equipment generally has a large number of power supply input channels, large air switch capacity and high requirements for the power environment of the machine room.
